Recognising Problem Gambling

Problem gambling is defined as gambling behavior that disrupts personal, family, or professional life. It can develop gradually and is not always easy to spot in yourself. In Bangladesh, gambling-related stress can affect not only players but their families and friends too. Being aware of early warning signs is a crucial first step toward getting the right help.

Common warning signs include spending more than you intended, borrowing money to gamble, neglecting responsibilities, feeling anxious or irritable when not gambling, and lying to family members about the amount of time or money spent on games. If you recognise any of these patterns, please use our self-exclusion or time-out tools immediately, or contact our support team for a confidential conversation.

How to Use Our Safety Tools

Setting a deposit limit is simple. Log in to your e8ee account, navigate to the Account Settings section, and select Deposit Limits. You can choose a daily, weekly, or monthly cap in Bangladeshi Taka (৳). Limits take effect immediately and can only be lowered in real time — increasing a limit requires a mandatory 24-hour cooling-off period to protect you from impulsive decisions.

To activate a time-out, go to Account Settings and select Time-Out. Choose a period of 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. During this window, you will not be able to log in or place any bets. Your account balance and any pending withdrawals will remain intact. When the time-out period expires, your account automatically reactivates.

For self-exclusion, please contact our support team directly at [email protected] and request a self-exclusion. We will process your request within 24 hours and close your account. Once a self-exclusion is in place, e8ee will not send you any marketing communications during the exclusion period.

Reality checks are enabled by default for all e8ee accounts. You will receive a notification every 60 minutes of active play showing your session duration and your net result in ৳. You can adjust the interval — or disable reality checks entirely if you choose — from your Account Settings at any time. We recommend keeping them active.

Protecting Minors

e8ee is strictly an adults-only platform. Players must be 21 years of age or older to register and play. During the account verification (KYC) process, we require valid government-issued identification to confirm your date of birth. Any account found to belong to a player under 21 will be closed immediately and all funds will be returned.

If you share a device with younger household members, we strongly recommend using parental control software to restrict access to gambling websites. Keep your login credentials private and never share your e8ee account password with anyone. If you believe a minor has accessed your account, contact our support team immediately.
